welcome to the site
I would just like to extend a warm welcome to the new visitors who saw the documentary last night. please feel free to sign the guestbook, vote on the poll and send e-cards to all your friends! For those of you who loved Alice's music, her single and album are available at amazon.co.uk, and sometimes some special promos appear on ebay.

I apologise for the site not looking its best, there is currently a problem with one of the counters so the true number of hits and hits in the last 24 hours isn't showing :( I hope it will be fixed asap but I have to wait on the hosts to fix mysql :(

I saw the documentary last night and was so inspired. For us to have been conceived is a miracle but so many of us waste this precious gift. Alice's resolute determination to live and give to the world around her and achieve her goals is truly moving and inspirational. What a waste for the BBC to show this at past 11pm. Alice's story should be more widely known. It made me think that, while Alice's musical talent, academic intelligence, self-deprecation and beauty made her stand out and good television, there must be other people who are less exceptionally talented but worthy of our total respect and to have their story and achievements known.
I have not been able to stop thinking about her life and talent since the programme finished and was moved by the unexpectedly sad postscript: I genuinely believed that her wait for a transplant would have been rewarded. It is easy to think her life was tragically short, but it was gloriously full and we should thank any God or force we believe in for Alice.
Thank you - her friends and family were blessed.
